On the Easter-weekend of 16th and 17th of April, a selected group of international riders shall test their skills during the launch of the new motorbike sport: PARKRIDING at the event Assen 500 km & XTTreme Euro Stuntriding Championship.
Parkriding will take place in a park, specially designed by Red Bull, which is expected to impress crowds and riders alike. Included in this new park is a 6m x 4.5m quarterpipe with transition wedges. A feature offering potential for spectacular air.
More terrain is currently in production and the event will be a unique, one of a kind experience.
More than 10 nationalities are competing in the first round of the European Stuntriding Champs this year at the TT Circuit Assen, with Holland having it's premiere championship. The motorbike world is changing, with emphasis more on playing with the bike. Stuntriding is climbing in popularity exponentially, and like the other world championship motorcycle competitions stuntriding is offering more for the imagination of up-coming young riders.
The target of the organisers for XTTreme EC-Stuntriding event, the Dutch based companies Moto-Art and HyperHyena along with the TT Circuit Assen, is on promoting motorsport to the youth, while emphasising dangers, risk and safety to all who partake.
