Hudson Kennaugh took a dominant race win at Donington Park with his team-mate Jon Kirkham in second place – so a good day on track for Raceways Yamaha. The final step of the podium went to Steve Brogan on the Teng Tools Honda.
Championship leader Glen Richards on the Embassy Yamaha finished in fourth place ahead of Ben Wilson on the Windmill Suzuki. Brendan Roberts didn’t have a good race due to running on at Redgate. There had been an oil spill on track earlier in the day and he ran onto that which distracted him, so him and his Buildbase Ducati ended up in the gravel trap, he was able to rejoin and finish sixth.
Former Superbike rider Peter Hickman on the Dyer Crossgills Racing Yamaha picked up seventh place ahead of road racer Alastair Seeley on the NCT/Vanfit Yamaha. Marshall Neill on the Neill Racing Suzuki took up ninth.
New comer to the UK, South African Allan Jon Venter rounded out the top ten.
