Chris Hawkes kept his cool during a red flagged ACU Suzuki GSX-R Trophy race at Castle Combe to take a dominant win during round eight of the close fought Championship.

Steve Brogan on the Teng Tools Honda took a superb race win to finish off his title campaign at the final round of the Metzeler National Superstock Championship at Brands Hatch.
He battled it out with newly crowned Champion, Glen Richards on the Embassy Yamaha and Adam Jenkinson on the Rocket Centre Suzuki. John Laverty on the Buildbase Ducati who took his first win of the year in the penultimate race came home in fourth place.
Jon Kirkham from Raceways Yamaha had to settle for fifth place following a moment early in the race when he touched Jenkinson’s back tyre. Pole Sitter Lee Jackson on the Krystal racing Yamaha was in sixth place ahead of out going Champion Brendan Roberts.
Hudson Kennaugh managed to finish in eighth place despite starting from 16th on the grid, set-up problems caused his lowly grid position but he made up for it in the race.
Martin Buckles on the MV Agusta finished ninth and Alastair Seeley completed the top ten.
