Swiss rider Patric Muff won the thrilling last round of this year’s Suzuki GSX-R Cup, with Gabor Rizmayer second and Ismael Ortega third. German rider Dominic Lammert took fourth place in today’s 10-lapper and that was enough to give him the title, nine points ahead of his nearest rival, Emeric Jonchiere. Patric Muff - 1st Normally I don’t like this track, but now that I’ve won here, perhaps I’ll change my mind! As usual, I didn’t make a good start, so I had a bit of work to do. During the race, I had many slides, but all in control. I’m very happy to end this wonderful race series with a win. It’s been great fun competing against all the other guys. Dominic Lammert - Champion It’s a great feeling and hard to explain right now. It was a difficult race because I kept on thinking about my position relative to what was going on around me. The last four laps were specially difficult, but I just tried to keep concentrating on what I had to do. This is a great championship because it gives young riders a chance to show what they can do in front of a Superbike audience. I am so happy and proud to won the title today.
