Following a dramatic race of two parts, Glen Richards finally picked up the Metzeler National Superstock Championship for his Embassy Yamaha race team.
The eventual race winner was John Laverty on the Buildbase Ducati who took his maiden race win. Richards came home in second place while Jon Kirkham on the Raceways Yamaha took third.
Steve Brogan who was also a title contender finished in fourth place on his Teng Tools Honda ahead of Ben Wilson on the Windmill Suzuki.
European Superstock rider Brendan Roberts finished in fifth place ahead of pole sitter Lee Jackson on the Krystal racing Yamaha. Adam Jenkinson who had a ride at Magny-Cours last weekend finished in eighth ahead of Howie Mainwaring and completing the top ten was another Raceways rider, Gareth Glynn.
