Hudson Kennaugh the new GSX-R European Cup title holder and current South African Superbike Champion has secured a test with the Alstare Superstock and Supersport teams, at Valencia in November.
Kennaugh had a ride with the Moto – 1 Suzuki Supersport team at Imola and Magny Cours for the final two rounds of the World Supersport Championship, where he obviously impressed the right people.
The Hurricane, as he is known, has been very busy on the race scene this season, defending his South African title, racing in the GSX-R Cup and then wild carding in the final two Supersport rounds. It looks like his hard work has paid off with the reward of a test with the Alstare squad.
“I really pleased, and proud to be given this opportunity. At the end of the season I had no firm plans in place for 2006, I hope that this test goes well and I will be able to join one of the highest profile teams in the World Superbike paddock,” he exclaimed “It is not every day you get a chance like this so I will be giving it one hundred and ten percent.”
The test takes place at Valencia in Spain on the 14th and 15th November. |
