South Africa’s Hudson Kennaugh had a baptism of fire at a freezing cold Snetterton for the official British Superstock test ahead of the first round next weekend at Brands Hatch. The high speed Norfolk circuit is completely new to Kennaugh as are the cold weather conditions. Despite lack of track knowledge and heat, Hudson on board his Carbon Cans Company Yamaha, was second in the first two sessions and ended the third session in fifth. His best lap time of the day was 1min 11.107secs and that was the time that placed him fifth in the final session. The test continues tomorrow when Kennaugh hopes to regain a top three position before heading to the undulating Brands Hatch circuit in Kent.
