Don’t
miss a morsel of the action from the little brother of
WSB, as the Supersport racing elite hit those top speeds
on the same production machines you can buy from your
local dealer! 2006 was a season that won’t be forgotten
easily, and with nearly 2 hours of coverage from all 12
action-packed rounds, this official review will have you
reliving the memories over and over.
It was
down to the wire until the very end in a competition
between Honda’s RR’s and Yamaha’s R6’s, but Frenchman
Sebastien Charpentier showed he’d come along way since
starting out on mopeds heading into 2007 as the reigning
World Champion for the second consecutive year. See why
team Honda had alot to be proud of with footage of the
stunning performances from both Charpentier and Turkish
Kenan Sofuoglu as they dominated the final race of the
season in Sebastien’s home town of Magny Cours.
Fought over 12 rounds on some of the world’s most
intense courses like Monza, Assen and Phillip Island -
Sebastien scored an unbelievable eight podiums and six
wins overall. Overcoming impossible situations like a
broken pelvis bone, the Frenchman made World Supersport
history, and inspite of the hard work from Yamaha and
Australia’s Curtain, he became the first rider to make
back-to-back championship wins. In doing so he gave
Honda and his Ten Kate team their fifth Rider’s
Championship in a row.
All
of the best highlights are here, plus full race
analysis, a behind the scenes look at the teams, expert
commentary and plenty of trackside thrills.
This
is a fantastic souvenir of Charpentier’s incredible
victory, and a season that has cemented the reputation
of Supersport racing for years to come.
