Official

It was
a challenging year for the Manx Grand Prix, as
changeable weather interrupted practice and saw the
Senior Race cancelled for the first time in the event’s
illustrious history.
However, the challenges couldn’t detract from the racing
in 2007, which was at its thrilling finest throughout!
Now
fans can enjoy the best of the MGP on the Official DVD
Review from Duke. On-bike footage and the very best
trackside camera angles bring viewers incredible action
from the legendary TT Mountain Circuit, and there’s
little doubt the committed, determined riding captured
will get the adrenalin flowing.
The
Newcomers Race will be remembered for the nip-and-tuck
battles seen throughout the field, with lap speeds
topping 110mph. But it will be best remembered for the
emergence of a breathtaking road racing talent in Oli
Linsdell, who rode to victory in Class C by a staggering
13 minutes!
The
Junior Race was another unforgettable duel, as Mats
Nilsson, Shane Connor and Derek Brian put on an
awe-inspiring, and crowd-pleasing, dice. With two laps
and a pit stop under the leaders’ belts the victory was
still up for grabs, until Connor’s terrible accident cut
short a vintage MGP tussle.
And
then there’s the Classics, which in 2007 featured many
old favourites, including a couple of TT veterans in the
shape of Ian Lougher and Ryan Farquhar. It’s a real
delight to see these vintage machines at speed around
this legendary TT course, and the roaring sound of
Hondas, Matchless, Patons, Nortons and more cannot be
bettered.
Enjoy
action from the Senior Classic and Junior/Lightweight
Classic – featuring the much-loved two-strokes – in the
Official Review, as Farquhar proves his mettle on older
machiery and Roy Richardson claims his third MGP
victory, a full decade after his first!
Plus,
as bonus features, the Official Review includes two
complete on-board laps of the Mountain Circuit with
Junior rider Ryan McCay and Ultra Lightweight competitor
Daniel Sayle.
