Rider Profiles

Name: Alastair Fagan

Series: British Supersport

Team: Team Buff JHS Racing

Hometown: Bristol

Alastair Fagan started road racing 4 years ago, but the 25 year old brings a wealth of experience to the team. An ex-national schoolboy motocrosser, Fagan switched to the tarmac and instantly caught the eye of the racing fraternity, taking victory in the well established Honda Hornet Cup in his first year of competing. He then earned a place on the National Superstock grid for the next couple of years riding for Superbike team, PR Branson Honda, and scored regular points with a best result of 6th place. Alastair then went on to race in the hard fought Virgin Media Cup: a one-make series for Britain’s best young riders aged 16-25. Things were looking good after several rounds with Fagan 6th in the championship, but broken ribs competing in an international race put pay to what was without doubt a promising season for this talented journalist.

Alastair Fagan will contend the Supersport Cup, as well as tending to his journalistic responsibilities. Alastair has already tasted the potential of the JHS 675 after securing the new lap record at Castle Combe for JHS earlier this year.
